This smoothie bowl is made with just 6 clean & simple ingredients to kick start your year with the right healthy eating habits while still enjoying that familiar flavor you love from Marlo’s Bakeshop cookies.
It's All About Balance Smoothie Bowl
INGREDIENTS (Serves 2):
1 ½ c organic unsweetened almond milk
6 kale stalks / half of a bunch
2 tablespoons organic tahini
1 frozen banana, cut into chunks
4 frozen strawberries
Marlo’s Toppings Blend: shredded organic coconut, Tahini Tea Cookies (whole or crushed), sliced bananas, high-fiber cereal
METHOD:
Combine almond milk & kale in blender. Puree until smooth. Add tahini & frozen fruit and blend until smooth and homogeneous. Pour smoothie evenly in 2 bowls and top with your choice of sweet/crunchy/nutritious toppings!
OPTIONAL: sub out tahini for your favorite nut butter, add dried fruit, toasted nuts, chia and/or flax seeds or crushed soft-baked biscotti
