Although Marlo's are softer than a traditional biscotti, they don't fall apart or turn to mush when dunked, yet I can eat these right out of the wrapper without aggravating my TMJ disorder.
I just love these! As it says on the packaging, put them in the microwave for 10 seconds and they will melt your heart! They are individually wrapped and in the perfect snack size.
Since finding Marlo's Gluten-Free Banana Bread biscotti, I order from her exclusively! This is a softer, fresher tasting biscotti. It has a true banana bread taste with cinnamon sugar dusted on the outside.
I am not a fan of biscotti to tell the truth because it is usually super hard and difficult to bite. This biscotti from Mario's Bakery shop is not of the same kind. It is a soft version biscotti and the texture is somewhat like cookies. I love it because it won't hurt my teeth. The taste is also great, it is not too sweet. The ingredients are simple.
Seriously though, these are really tasty and not too sweet. I'm going to have to hide them from myself, so I don't over indulge, but at only 100 calories per piece, that's not much more than my other snack bars that I have with coffee or as an afternoon snack.
I am a chocoholic and a chocolate chip brownie biscotti is a dream come true.I like baked goods and I will say there is nothing to dislike about biscotti, but I find it too hard for my liking. The soft-baked biscotti is the solution for me.
I love biscottis but rarely buy them because I make my own. I have to say these are every bit as good as what I make and the flavor is one I've never made before. They are nice and firm without being jaw breaking, which is a common misconception about biscottis.
